![]() ![]() ![]() The entire storyline addresses the question of whether chivalry is alive or dead which gets you invested in the action, but at times it would have been nice to hear the commentary more clearly as the microphones were muddled a little bit. I think they do switch around the winners but it would have been nice if they had choreographed the Blue knight to win at least ONE GAME so my daughter have cheered even louder :) At one point the master of ceremonies was blocking our view for about 7 minutes so it would have been good for him to take his horse and move around a little while the nights were defending the Queen's honor. Unfortunately, our blue Knight did not win a single joust. The show is extremely entertaining and the master of ceremonies tries to get the crowd involved by assigning each section to the knights that you cheer for. It's nice to have a glass of wine along with the food that they serve which, you have read in other reviews, is (surprisingly) good. If more than one of you is drinking alcohol I would suggest buying a whole bottle of wine and let them bring it down to the arena once you get seated. The middle sections are the red and yellow section and black-and-white section, however the blue and yellow sections face the Queen and you do not have to move your head back-and-forth like a tennis match to view the action if you are seated in the sections. I think if the arena is not so full, you can request closer seating, it is worth the attempt, But if you would rather save your money for drinks or souvenirs then the VIP seating is not necessarily too advantagious as you can see the arena from anywhere. ![]() When we arrived the lady at the ticket counter was kind enough to give us the 1st row. But honestly there are only 5 rows so not many stairs to go up or down as you enter at the top of the arena. Since we also had a senior in our group, We learned you can request for handicap seating if you don't want your party to walk stairs. The call center operator was very helpful and she also recommended the blue section of the arena so you can see the action head on and face the Queen. Then use the call center and give them the groupon code or the discount code from the website and they can apply it to the ticket sale so that all members of your party can sit together if they have different discounts for different age groups online. Check their website or the groupon page to see if you can use any discounts. We opted for the afternoon show after her nap (1pm on wed, 4pm on Thursday) although they have an evening show about every night. We had our three-year-old who enjoys new experiences and this show did not disappoint it kept her attention the entire time. We've always been very curious about this show so when we found ourselves looking for things to do in the area while we were visiting family we decided to take a chance and try it out. ![]()
